Lakhs of ordinary peoples, political leaders and film stars had been paying their closing respects to former Tamil Nadu chief Minister and AIADMK preferred Secretary J. Jayalalithaa on Tuesday who died on Monday night time following a cardiac arrest.
The 68 years old charismatic chief, who was in Apollo Hospitals because September 22, died here at 11.30 p.m.on Monday.Jayalalithaa’s frame was taken to her residence at Poes lawn on Tuesday.
After overall performance of the ultimate ceremonial rites as in step with way of life, her tricolour draped frame turned into shifted to Rajaji corridor here for human beings to pay their ultimate respects to the departed chief.
